Finger Play

Now, close your eyes, she said, starting to caress
My face. Do you feel that? Yes—the linger
Of her touch still warm as I heard her kneel
Down. I felt her hands glide over my bare
Feet, move up inside, outside - my flesh
Responding to her feathery touch - and pause
At my thighs, and wait and wait and cause
Me to say yes…Yes. Then beginning afresh,
With my words slowly dying on the air,
She moved it up and down. Asked if I could feel
Her move it up and down. Asked did my finger
Move up and down. I answered yes...Yes. Yes!
The neurologist then said, on this yearly visit,
Your senses, Big Guy, are deliciously exquisite.
